Media 100 expands 844/X feature set

Media 100, a leading provider of advanced media systems, has announced that it has shipped a new, expanded feature set for 844/X, the company's award-winning system for multi-layer content design.
844/X, first shipped in April 2002, enables breakthrough speed of unlimited layering with 10-bit quality throughout.
The new 844/X software release includes more than 100 new features and enhancements to the system's capabilities.
"844/X is an incredibly fast unlimited-layer system, and we are rapidly advancing its feature set," said Rick Keilty, director of product marketing for 844/X at Media 100. "Working closely with our 844/X customers allows us to prioritise and direct our efforts, and the results are evident in this new release."
