Twofour Productions to make Crafted for Carlton West Country

Carlton West Country has commissioned Twofour Productions to make Crafted, a 13 x 30 minute series investigating the many diverse arts and crafts which are special to the west country.
In each episode presenter Juliet Morris (Spotlight, Newsround, House Detectives, Holiday) meets artists and craftspeople from across the west country as they guide two beginners through the process of making everything from mosaics to moving toys.
The participants have been handpicked for their skills and experience in different, though related fields. Crafted demonstrates how everyone from carpenters and tilers to illustrators and art therapists can put their knowledge and expertise to use in new and exciting ways that viewers will find both accessible and inspiring.
Some of the region’s most respected artists have already contributed to the series, including legendary automota-maker Tony Mann, driftwood sculptor Heather Jansch, famous for her pieces at the Eden project, and Candace Bahouth, the celebrated American-born mosaicist.
Crafted is produced by Becky Salomons and directed by Jane Stamp. The executive producers are Caroline Righton (Carlton West Country) and Jill Lourie and Melanie Leach (Twofour Productions).
