Arcadis Appoints Peter Hogg As Its New Country Director

Arcadis has announced the appointment of Peter Hogg as its new Country Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Hogg succeeds Simon Bimpson, who will continue in his role as President of Arcadis Advanced Manufacturing. A 28-year veteran of the business, Hogg brings extensive experience across the built environment and civil society, and will continue to serve as London City Executive alongside his new responsibilities.

During his career, Hogg has played a key role in the delivery of several major infrastructure programmes in London, including the Jubilee Line Extension, St Pancras International Station and Heathrow Terminal 5. A Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, his professional background spans building surveying and project management, with a strong focus on aligning built and natural assets to client priorities.
Hogg has held the position of London City Executive for the past nine years, during which he has led Arcadis’ market strategy, client engagement and business development activities across the capital. He has also overseen the company’s central and local government relations programme and supported the expansion of Arcadis’ involvement in economic development and investment organisations across the UK. He is frequently quoted in trade and national media on issues relating to urban development and sustainability.

In addition to his role at Arcadis, Hogg is a non-executive board member of the Confederation of British Industry and recently completed a term as a non-executive director of the Thames Estuary Growth Board.
