AKA Help Write The Future

A specialist in the design and manufacture of studio interiors have recently completed the re-vamp of one of the suites at Grand Central. London based post production facility Grand Central Studios has used their new Pro Tools/ICON suite to make Nike's famous Write The Future campaign.
This three minute advert was released in 32 countries simultaneously and had 6 million hits on YouTube over the weekend of the Champions League final.
As part of the re-vamp AKA Design have changed the layout of the furniture in order to accommodate the new ICON desk. The wood work has been sprayed in a high gloss bronze finish with leather details.
Ivor Taylor, Technical Director of Grand Central Studios commented: "Studio 1 was being refitted and we wanted to make it more friendly and welcoming. The original styling whilst very well received was maybe rather too clinical. At first look Guy, in his usual inimitable way, said brown and you need some leather bits on the stainless steel hand rails. Apart from the normal back and forth of the exact brown for the furniture and the perfect match of the leather - it was basically job done after Guy's first comment!"
Ivor concluded: "My view is that it's easy to pay for mediocre but its very hard to find a touch of genius - that's why we have used AKA for 18 years."
