Media 100 central to AVR business expansion

AVR Productions (AVR) has re-launched its entire UK-based facility around 844/X, Media 100's award-winning system for multi-layer content design that combines editing with breakthrough speed of unlimited layering and 10-bit quality throughout.
The re-launch marks a new chapter in the development of AVR, whose clients include Travel Inn, Argos, Whitbread and Xerox, with the company utilising 844/X to expand its business and take the facility further up market.
Gary Oaten, founder and managing director of AVR, believes that the incredible speed and 10-bit quality offered by 844/X will not only allow him to enhance the first class service he already offers clients by delivering top-quality work in record time, but will also help him attract higher profile projects in new areas such as broadcast.
"We have been using Media 100 systems for over four years and they have been instrumental to the growth of our business," Oaten said. "It is therefore fitting that we should invest in Media 100's latest technology to take the company to the next level. Seeing 844/X for the first time, I was bowled over by the system's performance. When I calculated how the productivity delivered by 844/X would impact on my bottom-line, the decision to invest in the system was an easy one."
As part of the re-launch, AVR has moved to larger facilities, giving it the
latitude to build a new studio to accommodate 844/X and to create a more stylish, functional and spacious environment for clients. AVR has also hired new staff members to help fulfil its expansion plans.
