Compact Announces Restructure

Compact Media Group (Compact) has announced two key changes in roles and responsibilities within the management team as part of the company's ongoing expansion plans.
Andy Harwood has been elevated to Head of Operations across activities and James Sellar is now Head of Media & Business Development, having been responsible for the music division to date.
Key additional responsibilities for James will include analysis of new opportunities for the group alongside advocacy for client rights and responsibility for Compact's media relations.
John O'Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer of Compact Media Group, commented: "I have always believed passionately that Compact is a sum of all its parts from Account Managers up.
"Andy and James have been pivotal in helping the company grow and in their new roles they will help take opportunities further for the clients and for the group," he said.
"These changes run concurrent with our ambitions of working closer with existing clients to provide a broader range of financial services against IP securisation," continued the senior executive.
Their new roles and responsibilities follow on from an intensification of efforts internationally by Compact following the opening of a Paris satellite office and one in LA earlier this year which resulted in key signings in the form of Voltage Pictures and Echo Bridge Entertainment.
James Sellar added: "Compact's strength has always been to get the basics right and build upon our hard earned reputation through innovation and tenacity. We believe that emerging new media opportunities matched with our established services and resources will develop long lasting and economically viable results for rights holders in the value chain."
Compact has successfully grown the business through efficient management of its clients rights over the years - a position exemplified by last week's Broadcast Distributors Report. Compact represents approximately 85% of the top 32 companies including the coveted top five companies.
