Colourist Brian Metherell joins The Machine Room
Following substantial growth in demand for telecine projects, The Machine Room have appointed telecine colourist Brian Metherell.
Metherell has nearly 25 years experience in telecine, and joins from 4MC/Ascent Media.
He had previously spent time at VTR and TVP, among others and has worked on many prestigious projects such as 'The Gulf War' for BBC/WGBH and 'The Beatles - Anthology' for Apple. He will work on The Machine Room's Thomson HD Shadow and Ursa Diamond telecines.
Managing Director of The Machine Room, Danny Whybrow, said: "We are delighted to have Brian join us, at an exciting time for the company, and in particular at a time where we are continuing to raise our profile in telecine. Brian brings with him a wealth of experience, particularly in broadcast, restoration and remastering."
