Cedric Gairard Appointed Executive Producer At Nexus

Nexus has announced that Cedric Gairard is joining as Executive Producer.
Cedric joins from the international Amsterdam-based agency, 180, where he was Head of Production and co-managed the day-to-day running of the agency.
During his eleven years at 180, he worked with clients such as Adidas, Sony and MTV and consolidated his reputation within the international creative community for his commitment to high quality creative work across a range of media.
It is his combined wealth of experience and his extensive knowledge of the production process that Cedric brings to Nexus. He will work closely alongside Nexus co-founders Chris O'Reilly and Charlotte Bavasso and Head of Productions Julia Parfitt in further developing Nexus' creative offering across multiple platforms.
Charlotte Bavasso, Joint Managing Director at Nexus Productions, said: "We could not have imagined anyone better than Cedric to join Nexus as Executive Producer at this time.
"We are so excited by what he will bring to Nexus. He has a very articulate vision of the evolving advertising industry that Chris and I share on all levels. He is a highly competent, intelligent, dynamic, creative and kind individual and we are, most of all, very much looking forward to seeing him every day in the office."
Cedric added: "I am so grateful to 180 for giving me so many opportunities to learn and try new things, embracing creativity at every step of the process. Now, I could not dream for a better team than Nexus to fulfil my passion for great storytelling and outstanding production craft. With all the changes that are going through the industry, I strongly believe that Nexus has all the right cards in their hands. I am thrilled!"
Cedric will be taking up this position on September 1.
