Turner Latin America Signs Up For ITV Global Entertainment's Hollywood Movies

ITV Global Entertainment has announced the acquisition package of ten Hollywood movies by Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) Latin America.
The Hollywood television movies will premiere on Infinito, a general entertainment and documentary channel distributed throughout Latin America.
The acquisition was brokered by Flavio Medeiros, Senior Sales Executive - Latin America, ITV Global Entertainment, who said: "TV movies have always had a great appeal within Latin America and we are pleased that these ten exceptional new titles are heading to Infinito, one of the most unique and exciting channels in the region."
The package features Driven to Succeed, starring Cybill Shepherd in a compelling drama about the life of Martha Stewart, along with Million Dollar Murder, a powerful crime thriller based on a real-life murder, starring Poppy Montgomery (Without A Trace) and David Sutcliffe (Gilmore Girls).
Along with Eight Days to Live, a life-affirming, funny and critically acclaimed movie about a young woman determined to meet the challenge of her breast cancer with courage and humour, starring Sarah Chalke (Scrubs), Jay Harrington (Desperate Houswives, The Division) and Emmy Award-nominee Patti LaBelle and Life Is Not a Fairytale, the inspirational story of American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino, based on her own memoirs, directed by Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Debbie Allen (Fame) and also starring Loretta Devine (Crash, Grey's Anatomy) and Tony Award winner Viola Davis (Far From Heaven, Law And Order).
ITV Global is set to premiere its all new line-up of high quality Hollywood TV Movies at MIPTV 2009, including Crime of Fashion: Killer Hair starring Maggie Lawson (Psych, ER), Mrs Washington Goes to Smith starring Cybill Shepherd (Cybill, Moonlighting) and The Wedding Dance starring John Schneider (Smallville).
