Hollywood Editor To Visit Manchester Stars Of The Future

Budding sound engineers of the future will get to learn from one of the best in the business when a leading Hollywood sound editor visits the Futureworks studios in central Manchester to perform a masterclass in sound production.
Leon Minas is a specialist dubbing mixer and sound editor who has worked on some of the biggest box office hits; his impressive show reel includes 'Lord of the Rings', 'Star Wars' and 'Mission Impossible', to name a few.
Leon will deliver the masterclasses for year two students on the Futureworks Audio Engineering and Production diploma and will give an expert insight into the techniques and workflows used in the production of big-budget feature films and dramas.
Managing Director of Futureworks, Chris Mayo explained: "We are so delighted that such a high profile figure in the sound production business is now part of our teaching team at Futureworks.
