ENVY Expands With AKA

AKA Design, a specialist in the design and construction of studio interiors and technical furniture, has again been contracted by ENVY to supply them with 30 offline editing desks for their new facility in central London.
ENVY is expanding into its 3rd site in less than three years, the new building in Foley Street will add a further 32 suites to their group making a total of 95 operational areas across central London.
ENVY's Managing Director Dave Cadie said: "ENVY has used AKA for their edit desks at their Rathbone Place and Margaret Street sites and the quality has always been outstanding therefore AKA was obviously the natural choice for ENVY's third site at Foley Street."
As in previous projects, ENVY chose to use AKA's ProLite desk finished in veneered Crown Oak with small custom alternations, including the ENVY logo on the main vanity screen. The install for the new facility was held to a strict time schedule giving AKA just one month to manufacture and install the 30 desks.
Guy Wilson, AKA's Managing Director, said: "Using the ProLite enabled us to supply the desks quickly and efficiently and at a price point that benefitted the client."
The new facility will be open for business from January 5, 2009.
