Ross Video Now Shipping SoftMetal v4.0 Software

Ross Video is now shipping SoftMetal version 4.0 software, which was launched at IBC 2008.
Version 4.0 is currently shipping at no charge to all current SoftMetal customers.
The key features of SoftMetal v4.0 are: MXF Native Record and Playback Support for HD and SD clips; QuickTime Native SD Playout; Close Captioning Support; Embedded Audio Support, 16 Channels per video input and output; Stereoscopic (3D) Record and Playback; and numerous other enhancements.
