ViewCast Niagara Pro Powers Streaming Of Premium Sports And News For Leading UK Broadcast

ViewCast Corporation, a company which designs, manufactures and markets industry-leading hardware and software solutions that enable users to capture and encode audio/video content for live video streaming and video-on-demand (VOD) delivery over IP and mobile networks, has announced that the BBC is using Niagara Pro streaming encoders to power live streaming of prestige sporting events and news on the corporation's web site.
Fourteen Niagara Pros have been installed to provide a range of services including coverage of the Beijing Olympics and 24/7 streaming of news programming.
