Adding to their existing product line-up IBC 2004 Viewcast will include several new developments.
  • ViewCast IVN provides intelligent, IP-controlled video switching and distribution for digital signage, training, and video communications projects. At IBC, ViewCast will be demonstrating IVN in a small office configuration able to manage and control digital billboards and electronic signage.
  • Niagara SCX Version 3.3 adds features for an improved streaming production experience, including better encoder control and access to more encoder features. Niagara SCX allows any Osprey-based streaming video encoder system to be monitored and controlled remotely across a network.
  • Mobile Streaming Video - ViewCast is offering a wide range of streaming media solutions that deliver digital video to mobile phones, PDAs, and laptops. Product demonstrations showing how ViewCast products provide high-quality streaming for wireless delivery to mobile networked devices will be highlighted during IBC.
  • Viewcast will introduce the Osprey-300 Analogue/Digital Video Capture Card to the European market. Setting a new quality standard for the video production and editing experience, the Osprey-300 combines the quality and superiority of the industry-leading Osprey video streaming capture cards and adds the features of a standard IEEE 1394 card, creating a quality Digital Video (DV) capture card with full DV control capability.
