Hireworks Supplies Editing Technology For 'Mamma Mia!' And 'Harley Street'

News Image
Hireworks, the Pinewood-based film and TV dry hire editing company launched in 2007, has announced that it has provided key postproduction technology for new movie 'Mamma Mia!', which was released earlier this month.
With a stellar cast, including Meryl Streep, Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan, the film is an adaptation of the successful stage show.
Working with J&E Post Production Hireworks supplied 5 x Lightworks Touch, using shared storage, plus Avid Adrenalines to complete the film and represents another major project completed since the company's launch in 2007.
Hireworks also provided editing technology for new ITV drama 'Harley Street'. The company provided three Avid Adrenalines in two of its Broadwick Street cutting rooms for producers Carnival Films.
Executive Chairman Lawrie Read commented: "These are just the latest in a string of high profile productions we have supplied editing technology for and proves our ability to provide kit and support for film, TV and live events."
