Signiant Joins HP Developer & Solution Partner Progamme

Signiant, a leading developer of digital media distribution management solutions (DMDMS) for the telco, media and entertainment industries, has announced that it has been accepted into the HP Communications Media and Entertainment (CME) Partner Programme (DSPP).
Signiant is the only DSPP member that has been validated for integration of file-based workflow with HP Media Storage solutions.
The DSPP enables independent software vendors (ISVs), systems integrators, developers and consultants to work collaboratively to more effectively address customer needs. As part of the DSPP, Signiant will leverage HP server and storage platforms, CME solutions and consulting services to deliver a comprehensive digital media distribution strategy to telco, media and entertainment companies throughout its global footprint.
Julie Blaisdell, Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances at Signiant, said: "Joining the HP DSPP helps Signiant to deliver a cost-efficient, end-to-end digital media infrastructure for customers that are looking to streamline every aspect of their digital media workflows to capitalise on new and emerging business models. Leveraging HP technology is part of our strategy to form alliances with the leaders in media and entertainment technology. We are proud of these relationships and benefits, and many of our customers are already recognising the rewards of our joint solutions."
Signiant's DMDMS helps customers manager, secure, automate and accelerate the movement of digital media within and between businesses to form a complete, file-based digital media distribution strategy. Customers taking advantage of DMDMS and the scalability and reliability of HP ProLiant servers and HP Media Storage solutions will have a strong foundation to manage and automate the movement or distribution of media assets, and a comprehensive workflow that integrates various aspects of the digital content lifecycle.
Jay Cherrington, Manager of Communications, Media and Entertainment Alliances at HP, said: "Media, entertainment and service provider companies around the world are looking for their technology environments to help cut costs, manage growth and lower risk to the business. Signiant's DMDMS combined with HP's broad portfolio of digital media, server and storage solutions can help customers achieve those goals."
A part of HP DSPP, the HP CME Partner Programme is a specialised programme designed to provide HP's ISV partners with online technical and marketing information and materials, as well as access to training, loaner hardware, technical assistance, partner-focused audio and webcasts and other resources.
