Atlas Media Corp Announces New VP Of Development

Atlas Media Corp, one of the US' largest and most influential independent producers of non-fiction programming, has appointed Anita Shah as Vice President of Development.
Ms Shah's appointment will be effective immediately; she'll be based in the company's New York headquarters and will report directly to Kaki Kirby, EVP of Business Development and Special Projects.
Ms Kirby said: "Anita's vast experience in cable television and with the development of non-fiction programming dovetails perfectly with the overall mandate at Atlas Media. She will be a welcome addition to our team."
Ms Shah has over ten years of experience casting, developing and pitching unscripted shows to the top 20 US cable networks including Discovery, Lifetime, Bravo, HGTV and A&E. Before coming to Atlas, Ms Shah most recently served as director of development at Lion TV. Based in New York, Ms Shah has also worked in television for the ABC Network, Granada America and Tiger Aspect Production. Her programme credits include 'Sensing Murder', 'Bought And Sold' and 'Airline USA'. Previously, Ms Shah was a reporter and produced shows for MTV Networks and BBC.
Ms Shah replaces Lauren Frasca, who is leaving to attend Columbia Business School.
