Skillset Support Workshops At Lesbian And Gay Film Fest

For the first time, London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival's (LLGFF), with support from Skillset, is offering a programme of three talent development workshops for 20 selected LGBT filmmakers seeking to move from short to feature filmmaking.
The programme will be held during the LLGFF on 2 April, from 10am 6pm, followed by networking drinks. Topics covered will include understanding the funding climate; making your first feature; developing stories; the role of the sales agent and distributor; how to reach audiences: niche and general.
The sessions will be led by top industry professionals, including fund executives, producers, directors, development executives, sales agents and distributors and will include case studies of feature films. The cost of the programme to the selected filmmakers is £25 / £15 concessions.
The closing date for applications is 5pm, 17 March 2008.
