Source Distribution Appoints Chas Levin

Pro audio distributor Source Distribution has announced the appointment of Chas Levin as Technical Support Specialist.
Based at the new Source HQ in North West London, Levin will provide technical support via phone and email to dealers and their customers, covering all Source-distributed brands – Genelec, Røde, PreSonus, Universal Audio, Sonnox, Eventide, HHB, Lynx, Event and Rosendahl.
The new appointment is a key component of Source’s strategy to establish the highest standards of technical service in UK pro audio distribution. In addition to the technical support role, Levin will handle pre-sales technical enquiries, liaise with the in-house service department and with Source’s suppliers on technical issues, and devise and provide product training programs for dealers.
After an apprenticeship as a transfer engineer in the late 1980s, Levin worked as a studio engineer and latterly producer at studios in London and Rome, before running the technical support department at SCV London for the last four years, so is ideally equipped for the new role.
