dB Broadcast Appoints Bens Miles

Leading UK independent system integrator and manufacturer dB Broadcast has appointed Ben Miles as Business Development Manager. Miles, who has over 10 years experience in the broadcast industry, was previously a regional business development manager with Pro-Bel.
Ben Miles joined Pro-Bel in 2004 as Account Manager and was promoted to Regional Business Development Manager in 2007, where he was predominantly responsible for the UK market. Before that he spent more than two years with Leitch Europe, where he was Sales Manager, responsible for the full range of Leitch products in the UK.
Other broadcast-related appointments have been Engineering Co-ordinator at Channel 5 Broadcasting, where he was responsible for first-line maintenance of Channel 5 Equipment, and Transmission Operator at Pearson Television International, where Ben operated a multi-channel transmission suit.
Tom Swan, dB’s Director of Sales and Marketing, said: “Ben Miles has joined our sales team at a time when dB is experiencing sustained and rapid growth. He will be London-based and his expertise in playout and related broadcast products will be of significant value as the company continues to expand its systems work and range of products.”
