Pro-Bel Announces Appointments And Promotions

Pro-Bel has reacted to buoyant business conditions by announcing a number of significant new appointments and internal promotions in its EMEA sales department.
Mark Gardner has been appointed VP of Sales for EMEA, reporting to Sales Director Patrick Morel. Gardner is returning to Pro-Bel after a period as International Sales Director at QuStream. He was previously Sales Director at Vistek when the company was acquired by Pro-Bel in 2005 and is therefore very knowledgeable about Pro-Bel and its product range.
Malcolm Butler has been promoted to the position of Regional Business Manager for the UK and Eire. Butler is a Pro-Bel veteran, having originally joined the company in 1984, and has held a wide variety of positions in engineering and sales, most recently being Sales Manager for EMEA.
Scott Barber joins Pro-Bel as a Senior Account Manager for the UK, reporting to Malcolm Butler. Barber was most recently at Sony, where he managed key reseller accounts, before which he held a variety of sales positions at VIZrt and Pixel Power. Scott's background includes extensive experience as a TV graphic designer and operator at FTTV, Granada and the BBC.
Anthony Harries joins Pro-Bel from Miranda, where he was QA Team Leader. He will fill the role of Internal Sales Co-ordinator at Pro-Bel, responsible for providing technical and commercial support to the UK and EMEA sales teams and also to Pro-Bel's extensive dealer and partner network across EMEA. Like Gardner, Harries is returning to Pro-Bel, where he was a Project, Test and Support Engineer between 1988 and 2001.
Finally Sarah Dover has been promoted to the position of Sales Office Manager. Sarah came to Pro-Bel with the acquisition of Vistek, where she was in charge of sales administration. She will manage Pro-Bel's sales systems and resources including CRM.
"I am delighted to announce these important changes in our EMEA sales team," said Pro-Bel Sales Director Patrick Morel.
"Significant increases in our UK and European business, especially in the field of automation, make it necessary for us to add to our capability. With Deborah Lehmani shortly to return from maternity leave, we now have strength in depth across all areas of our product range."
