Ascent Media Systems & Technology Services (S&TS) a provider of consulting, systems integration, and technical support services for the electronic media and entertainment industry, has announced the promotion of two of its senior management to Vice President to provide leadership to the company’s operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Alain Polgar has been appointed Vice President, EMEA, responsible for all business and commercial aspects of the division in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Polgar will also oversee the region’s sales and business development team.
Paul Wilkins has been promoted to Vice President, Technology & Operations, with responsibility for all technology architecture and engineering as well as systems integration operations across EMEA.
Commenting on the promotions, Tom Canavan, Executive Vice President, Systems & Technology Services, Ascent Media said: ”Our team is seeing considerable traction in EMEA as recently evidenced by the signing of a major deal with French broadcaster TF1. With Alain and Paul heading up the operation, we have increased leadership in place to drive the continued expansion of our business and take advantage of the growing opportunities in the region."
Alain Polgar joined Ascent Media in April 2006 as Director of Sales, responsible for business development in Continental Europe, Israel and North Africa.
