Granada International Acquires Worldwide Distribution Rights To French Thriller 'Scalp'

Granada International has acquired worldwide distribution rights, excluding France, to brand new drama series 'Scalp'.
The 8 x one hour French language thriller is produced by 7 Apache Films for top French broadcaster CANAL +. The series is currently being shot on location in France.
Noel Hedges, Granada International’s Head of Drama, commented: "As a truly international distribution company we acquire programmes from all over the world. Scalp grabbed us from the beginning - it’s riveting, thought-provoking and, most of all, commercial. We’ve seen many well-produced European language series sell successfully all around the world – and feel that Scalp will sit alongside these."
Bruno Petit at 7 Apache Films added: "We’re delighted to be working with Granada International, whose massive global sales network and experienced sales team, are a real advantage in helping us reach an international audience."
Scalp is a nail-biting thriller set in the male-dominated world of The Stock Exchange. Putting aside her own fears, our heroine Alex must step into this cut and thrust environment to investigate why her young husband committed suicide leaving her huge debts. The cast includes César award winner Laure Marsac (Un vampire au paradis), Thomas Jouannet (Henry Dunant: Du rouge sur la croix) and rising new star Annelise Hesme (Alexander).
