Sat-Comm and Pro-media International Supply Production SNG Vehicle to Dubai Company

A joint development between Sat-Comm, a UK based Satellite Systems integrator, and Middle East broadcast specialists Promedia Systems International, has produced a state-of-the-art SNG production vehicle for a Dubai Broadcast facilities company.
The vehicle features two of the latest generation SE4000 MPEG-2 encoder/modulators from Tiernan. These, together with a pair of Xicom XT400K HPAs, with digital control and built-in block up converters, form a fully redundant transmission chain.
The Sat-Comm Aurasat 1.2m antenna features their highly accurate and reliable auto-pointing system, capable of the unaided acquisition of any satellite visible above the horizon.
The rest of the vehicle is packed with a wealth of production facilities, and the vehicle is a showcase for the design innovations of Promedia’s UK-based engineering teams behind the project. As a fully equipped four-camera the vehicle offers a comfortable production environment. Facilities include a Sony MFS-2000 1.5 ME vision mixer, Trilogy Orator talkback, Autoscript equipped cameras, Pro-Bel Routing and distribution and a Chyron HyperX On-Air Graphics Generator. A Yamaha 01V 32 channel digital audio desk, operated from the rotated passenger seat completes this comprehensive facility.
