New Line-Up For Short Cuts Announced

The four successful projects for the Short Cuts scheme have been announced by Bord Scannan na h�ireann/the Irish Film Board.
The Short Cuts scheme is aimed at fostering new talent and encouraging innovative short film making in Ireland. Successful short films produced in the past as part of the scheme include A Woman�s Hair (Conor McDermottroe), Colder (Dir: J.J. Harrington), Prey Alone (Stephen St. Ledger & James Mather) and Screwback (Dir: Brian O�Malley). This year�s selections are:

  • The Basket Case

  • Deep Breaths

  • New Boy

Short Cuts is co-funded by Bord Scannan na hEireann/the Irish Film Board and RTE. These shorts will premiere at the Galway Film Festival next year.
