AP Archive Obtains Exclusive Rights To Video Featuring Footage Of 9/11 Attackers

AP Archive, a London-based archive of AP Television News, has exclusive distribution rights to new video obtained by The Sunday Times of London which shows two of the 9/11 hijackers laughing and joking together, before then reading out their last wills.
The 51-minute mute video is believed to have been shot in January 2000 at an Al Qaeda training base near Kandahar airport, in Afghanistan. The video shows Mohamed Atta and Ziad Jarrah. Both are then seen to be reading their last wills and this is believed to be the only known video of Atta and Jarrah together.
There is also new footage of Osama Bin Laden addressing a group of followers. Amongst the crowd are Ramzi Binalshibh who was allegedly one of the main organisers of the 9/11 attacks, and Nasir Ahmad Nasir al Bahri.
Head of AP Archive, Alwyn Lindsey commented: “All credit to The Sunday Times, which has unearthed a missing visual link in the 9/11 story. The images of Atta and Jarrah laughing together before reading out their last wills provide an insight into the mindsets of the perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks some 18 months before they carried out their mission."
