Christian Broadcast Network Install Chyron Software

Chyron Corporation has announced that The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), based in Virginia Beach, one of the largest television ministries in the world, has installed a dual-channel Chyron HyperX HD/SD-switchable graphics system with eFX Clips and CAMIO, Chyron’s MOS Graphics Management solution. The installation was carried out by the Whitlock Group, a Chyron partner.
CBN, a firm advocate of Chyron products for a number of years, is currently using the HyperX to output SD, but will be switching to HD early next year when the network begins HD production on its flagship program, The 700 Club. The CAMIO MOS solution provides CBN with tight integration between Chyron and AP ENPS, which has allowed the network to automate several of its newsroom and studio control room functions.
“CBN is very pleased with the performance of the new Chyron system. We have a long-standing relationship with Chyron and the company continues to deliver superior products and service for our organisation,” commented Kent Denton, Director of Engineering, The Christian Broadcasting Network.
“We are delighted to announce this sale to CBN, which continues to highlight the excellent relationship between our two companies. Chyron products are synonymous with the HD broadcast market and we continue to strive in providing our customers with systems that deliver outstanding results in high-pressure environments,” added Kevin Prince, Chyron’s Chief Operating Officer.
HyperX is Chyron’s high-performance, flagship graphics system, featuring up to two independent HD/SD-switchable channels, optional DVE, eFX Clips and Lyric® PRO advanced creation and playout application.
