France 3 chooses SSL's C100 Console

French broadcaster France 3 has invested in two C100 digital production console from Solid State Logic, one of which will be installed at its facility in Rennes and the other in an OB vehicle located at its facility in Alsace.
Specialising in local and regional programming, France 3 broadcasts throughout the nation and operates up to two channels in each of the country's broadcast regions.
The broadcaster chose a 64 channel, 32 fader, C124 for its facility in Rennes because it offered a large amount of master busses and channel outputs, all of which are permanently displayed in a simple and intuitive manner.
Patrick Coupel, senior operator at France 3 Rennes commented: "We were very impressed by the power, ease of use and real broadcast orientation of this console. We also liked the fact that the C100 has one processing rack for all audio and DSP cards and offers a proprietary and reliable operating system."
The C100 destined for the OB vehicle in Alsace will replace an SSL Aysis Air console that has been in use for some years.
