Brick House Video and Let It Wave bring revolutionary new Up-Converter & Cross-Converter technology to IBC

Brick House Video, in partnership with the French company ‘Let It Wave’, will demonstrate the most superior up-conversion process ever seen at IBC this year in its affordable new 1RU Syntax HD Up/Cross-Converter unit.
Syntax will be the first broadcast product to utilise Let It Wave’s FPGA based on its radically new super-resolution bandlet algorithms. It brings the performance advantages of motion-compensated processing without the currently associated disadvantages of high cost and occasional severe artifacts. Visit www.letitwave.com for a white paper and other information.
“We are delighted to bring an advanced and affordable up-converter to market that we believe betters the quality found in the high-priced units,” stated Paul Hiorns, Managing Director of Brick House Video. “Syntax was developed specifically with Let It Wave’s FPGA bandlet technology, and is being offered at an extremely attractive price. We have performed extensive trials in conjunction with prominent end users, and it does a fantastic job – a genuine case of ‘seeing is believing’.” Syntax is being offered for in range of £6k Sterling (approximately $10k USD).
“Thanks to Brick House Video’s experience in high-end broadcast products, Syntax fully takes advantage of the ultimate quality provided by Let It Wave’s Up/Cross-Conversion FPGA,” said Stéphane Mallat, CEO of Let It Wave.
