New York stage for new annual footage event

A new annual event designed to bring together the licensors and licensees in the stock footage industry is being launched in November in one of the world's leading media centers - The Puck Building at 295 Lafayette Street, New York.
The first event, movingpicturehouse 2006, has already signed up 14 top footage houses to take part in the one-day event scheduled for November 1.
It is being staged jointly by trade specialists Stock Footage Index and picturehouse, organiser of similar events for the stock photo industry. The organiser's call the first footage event "an all day meeting place of like minded people who between them strongly influence the stock footage industry."
Registration is free and available on-line at www.movingpicturehouseonline.com.
