Jampro Antennas / RF Systems' keep FM stations on track

Jampro Antennas / RF Systems’ quick turnaround capabilities recently allowed three FM stations in the Educational Media Foundation's (EMF) K-LOVE network to stay on track.
The Sacramento, California manufacturer rapidly fulfilled antenna orders for all three stations enabling EMF to meet pressing broadcast schedules and expiring construction permits.
Jampro fast-shipped a 2-bay JMVP vertical dipole antenna to KAIC (88.9FM) in Tucson, Arizona and a 3-bay JMVP antenna to KQLU (90.9 FM) transmitting from Mount Belgrade, Montana. A JHPC 6-bay circularly polarized antenna, optimized by Jampro for a FCC directional construction permit, is scheduled for delivery to KYLV (88.9 FM) in Norman, Okalahoma to meet the permit expiration date.
The JMVP, selected by KAIC and KQLU, is Jampro's medium power vertical dipole antenna ideal for US stations with potential channel 6 interference issues. The antenna is also popular outside the US where stations are only permitted to broadcast vertical signals. Jampro's JMVP is fed by 1-5/8" interbay line and handles a maximum of 10 kW input power.
Jampro's JHPC sidemount antenna, shipping to KYLV, is the high power version of the company’s Penetrator series and is rated for 50kW maximum input. Each bay consists of a Penetrator style radiating element with a 3-1/8 inch shunt feed line. True circular polarisation of the JHPC antenna provides excellent performance for stereo and SCA operation. Typical VSWR is 1.1:1 +/-200 KHz.
