'Half Light' premieres on Angelsey

The first showing of the Hollywood thriller 'Half Light' will be on Sunday June 18 at the Ucheldre Centre Holyhead.
170 invited guests will be able to see this ghost-tale starring Demi Moore which used Llandwyn Island, just off Newborough, as its principal location.
“The fact that this major American movie chose Wales ahead of Scotland and even Canada as main location is proof that we can rank amongst the best in the world,” said Mike Wallwork, National Co-ordinator of the Wales Screen Commission.
Richard Coombs, the North Wales Film Manager, said: “Yet again, the breadth of locations and the abundant talent in this country has bought a major film to Wales.
“The people and authorities of Anglesey and Gwynedd were amazing in the help that they gave the producers and it is because of their help we beat other regions across the world.”
