Autodesk Sparks and Alias Conductor programmes unite
Autodesk has announced the merger of its two existing Media & Entertainment developer programmes, Autodesk Sparks and Alias Conductor Programmes, under the global Autodesk Developer Network (ADN).
New and existing members will be joining a full service, worldwide developer programme which has more than 2,600 members worldwide. The programme, entitled ADN Sparks, will align the developer programmes of the former Discreet and Alias organisations and better serve Autodesk’s media and entertainment customers. Autodesk acquired Alias in January 2006, and has integrated both Alias and Discreet into its Media & Entertainment Division.
ADN Sparks offers a unified developer network for all Autodesk Media & Entertainment Division partners, with increased benefits and a streamlined process for Autodesk’s development communities. The programme gives third-party developers the opportunity to create tools that extend the functionality of Autodesk’s media and entertainment technology. Such tools are integrated into Autodesk customers’ development pipelines, optimising workflow and increasing their creative capabilities.
