Tribeca Film Festival commissions 'iKyp'

Kyp Systems and the Tribeca Film Festival in New York have collaborated to develop and produce a Tribeca Film Festival 2006 Guide, 'iKyp'.
This essential guide will be distributed during the Festival, which runs from the April 25 to May 7 2006.
Established in 2002 by Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal, the Tribeca Film Festival has fast become one of the most prestigious events in the film festival calendar. Now in its fifth year, it has expanded its offering through a host of new activities for visitors. Live music performances, a family festival and street fair, screenplay readings and talks with key players the movie business are just some of the events taking place.
The iKyp will be distributed in gift bags to panellists, judges and VIP staff, as well as through partnered retailers, restaurants and hotels in the Tribeca surroundings.
Christopher Westley of the Tribeca Film Festival commented: "Each year the festival gets bigger and better. For 2006, we wanted to accommodate the ever expanding number of visitors that attend each year by including three additional screening venues in uptown New York.
Nicholas Miller, COO/Joint CEO of Kyp Systems, said: "The iKyp is perfect for our needs. It will provide visitors with all the information they require while encouraging them to explore New York and make the very most of their time at the festival. It contains everything they need to know, including street maps, restaurant, hotel and shop listings and fun information about the festival - all of which fits neatly in your pocket.
"The iKyp is the ideal companion to use at a festival as it is compact yet holds all the vital information needed for this memorable event.
" We are sure that the recipients will find them increasingly useful during the festival."
The iKyp - information to Keep in your pocket - is an extraordinarily versatile and adaptable communications format designed to improve effectiveness by cutting through the clutter of traditional mechanics and by improving end-user retention.
