UNITED NEWS AND MEDIA TV INTERESTS DISCUSSED
GRANADA Media have called a meeting to discuss plans for United News and Media’s ITV interests.
Senior Executives from United News and Media production and broadcasting have been called to the meeting in London to hear Granada Media’s plans for taking over United’s ITV businesses.
The meeting, which will take place on the same day that Granada takes over official management control of United’s ITV interests, which include Anglia, HTV and Meridian franchises.
Granada’s Chief Executives Charles Allen and Steve Morrision are expected to address the meeting.
Both companies’ shareholders agreed the £1.75 billion deal recently at their Extraordinary General Meetings.
