NEW DIGITAL AUDIO AMPS FROM CRYSTAL VISION

UK COMPANY Crystal Vision have announced an increase in their audio interface range with the launch of three dual digital audio distribution amplifiers.
The DADA208, DADA208N and DADA208D all offer two stereo input feeds and up to four outputs of each channel, or alternatively one input and up to eight outputs.
The standard version, the DADA208, has reclocked outputs for high protection requirements and a cable equaliser, designed for long cable lengths. For applications where the quality of the input is known, the DADA208N offers non-reclocked outputs for a slightly lower price and is particularly suited for distributing Word Clock reference. The DADA208D doubles as an audio delay line as, in addition to the reclocked outputs, it includes a selectable delay of up to one second at 48kHz, making it ideal for matching delays in other equipment such as ARCs and DVEs. The unit has an independent delay adjust on each channel.
The DADA range can be used with frame rear modules for both 75ohm and 110ohm, which also allows for impedance conversion, and are designed for use in all broadcast areas where digital audio signals need to be distributed. Developed following specific customer demand, Crystal Vision predicts they will be extremely popular products due to the high density packing, the ability to incorporate delays and the choice of seven rear module options.
Based at Sawston, near Cambridge, Crystal Vision provide digital keyers and a full range of digital and analogue interface equipment including converters, decoders, encoders, aspect ratio converters and audio embedders to the professional broadcasting industry worldwide.
