BBC TO INSTALL NEW SSL AVANT CONSOLE
AT THE recent SBES event in Birmingham, Solid State Logic (SSL) announced that the BBC has purchased an Avant digital film and post-production console.
The new console, a 24 fader Avant with 96 full processing channels, is to be installed in a BBC regional facility where it will be used for high-end television drama production.
SSL say that the new Avant console is expected to be operational at the end of January.
