ONEDOTZERO RANGES FROM SHORTS TO FEATURES

DIGITAL moving image project, production company and annual festival, ‘onedotzero’, is to host a special event showcasing material from some of the world’s most innovative talents in digital film, new media, music promos and computer gaming.
The event will be presenting programming from the past two years of their annual festival at ‘onedotzero_reprise’ at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) from November 24 to 30.
Jonathon Glazer, award winning Director who is soon to launch his first feature film, ‘Sexy Beast’, will be appearing at 'ondotzero_reprise' to discuss and show clips from his past and present work.
Strands at ‘onedotzero_reprise’ will include ‘Extended Play’ focusing on work by directors of the cream of the longer form narrative films, these include animations ‘Roadhead’ and ‘Figures of Speech’ by Sabiston and Pallotta.
The ‘Wow And Flutter’ strands will also be included in the festival, showcasing motion graphics and pioneering new forms of visual image. Other programme strands include ‘J-star’, for rarely seen animated motion graphics and music videos, ‘Wavelength’ for music videos and commercials and ‘Lens Flare’, for exclusive computer gaming visuals.
Outside the festival ‘onedotzero’s’ impact on television production is growing, from their spin-off television series ‘onedottv’ made for Channel 4 last year. A further three series have been commissioned for broadcast in 2001, alongside other digital film productions.
The organisation’s major digital film festival, ‘onedotzero5’, is being prepared for the end of April 2001.
Further information on ‘ondotzero_reprise’ screenings can be found at www.onedotzero.com
