Castilla La Mancha Television install Pinnacle switchers

Spain’s newest regional broadcaster, Castilla La Mancha are to install three Pinnacle Systems’ PDS 9000i vision mixers for use in a variety of programmes, including news and sports.
The PDS 9000i systems were chosen for this as "they are more powerful and cost effective than the competition."
Castilla La Mancha already use Pinnacle equipment and the new vision mixers will join a line-up of FXDeko, Deko 500 and Deko 100 CGs and a Thunder clip server.
Jesύs Sánchez, Technical Manager at Castilla La Mancha Television, said: “As a new station, we have been able to equip the studios with the very latest technology, including all the Pinnacle products. We are on air for 20 hours a day so reliability is very important. The PDS 9000i systems met our criteria for performance at a very attractive price. As well as the usual programmes such as new, sports and chat shows, we will also be using the switchers for some new and interesting projects.”
