ROHDE & SCHWARZ LAUNCH NETLINK

ROHDE & Schwarz, a German company with offices in Hampshire, have launched their new broadcast monitoring solution, Netlink.
Rohde & Schwarz claim that Netlink is the first solution for complete worldwide remote control and monitoring of broadcasting transmitters. The detailed status of the transmitter systems can be queried and new parameters set both via Internet web browser and an SNMP-compatible network. This means for network operators an easy-to-use and cost-efficient solution for the individual maintenance of their transmitter systems.
Netlink has been devised as an open platform and is therefore suitable for analogue television, DVB-T and DAB, and as an open platform, this remote control and diagnostics unit allows upgrading for future standards.
