HOLDAN LAUNCH DATAVIDEO DAC-1
THE DATAVIDEO DAC-1 aims to solve the format compatibility issues faced by many professional videographers.
The DAC-1 is a bi-directional converter that converts DV to analogue and analogue to DV in real-time.
A stand-alone box, it has two buttons on the front panel and audio /video connections to the rear. The DAC-1 converts analogue video to DV or DV to analogue in real-time, making it easy to combine different formats together in one production.
Application software for the DAC-1 allow you to use a DV capture card to import analogue footage or output to S-VHS / VHS 1. For those working professionally the DAC-1 can also convert DV to YUV.
The DAC-1 is fully compatible with Power Mac and iMac DV as well as most PC and camcorder DV interfaces.
The DAC-1 has DV In/Out, S-Video In/Out, composite In/Out via phono plugs and YUV component out via BNC. The unit measures 210x 195x52mm and weighs 1.2kg.
