Mitcorp announces Broadcast Rental division

Mitcorp, one of Europe’s leading broadcast equipment and service providers, announced the launch of Mitcorp Broadcast Rental.
This new division will be headed up by former Gearhouse Rental Manager Stephen Ratcliff and was created to service Europe’s expanding HD market.
Mitcorp Broadcast Rental will begin trading in October 2005 and will dry-hire a complete range of broadcast equipment from cameras and lenses through to VTR’s and monitors from a variety of manufacturers. Ratcliff will be responsible for managing this division, that currently has a team of four, and working with European broadcasters, OB companies and post-production houses.
Ratcliff said: “Our industry needs forward thinking companies and Mitcorp are just that. I look forward to working closely with its existing clients and new ones as they move into the realities of HD broadcasting.”
