Gearhouse Broadcast announce unique deal with Vizrt

Gearhouse Broadcast, the broadcast equipment rental and sales company, have just announced that they will become the preferred rental supplier of Vizrt’s realtime 3D character generator, Viz|Trio and their broadcast design application Viz|Artist.
Viz|Trio is a powerful, real-time 3D character generator. In addition to the basic CG features it offers a feature-rich 3D design system for creation of true 3D graphics and animations. Viz|Engine, is the high-performance 3D renderer output engine for Viz|Trio. The character generator offers a wide range of attractive features incorporating the ability for multiple clients to control one or more output channels and integration to Non Linear Editing systems.
Viz|Artist is a user-friendly broadcast design application. High quality, real-time 2D/3D animated graphics can be produced as HD or SD video. The system has numerous applications in terms of design for sports, news, weather, business, and entertainment.
According to Rex Jenkins, Director of Sales for Vizrt: “The key driver behind this decision was a need we identified with clients working on short term productions who wanted a high-end 3D graphics tool but who could not justify the investment over the production term.
