DATAVIDEO have announced that V3.3 software is now installed on their VDR-3000/DV Video Disc recorder.

The VDR-3000 is a stand alone, real-time video disc recorder, with the user able to choose either MPEG1 or MPEG2 compression, with choice of formats all the way up to full D1 DVD quality (704x576 / 4.8mbps) recordable on standard CD-R or CD-RW discs. The ability for the discs to be played in either a standard PC or stand-alone DVD player makes it an ideal production tool. The unit features, IEEE1394 (Firewire) input (optional), S-Video and Composite Video inputs and an optical digital phono audio input, making the unit ideal for also recording audio CD’s.
