Rhino Power & Light announce launch

Rhino Power & Light Ltd is a new company formed by Tony Covell to supply the television and film industry with portable power for lighting and camcorders.
The equipment is physically strong, the electronics are time proven and the aim of the company is to sell ‘Tuff Stuff’.
Covell brings more than 30 years of experience to the products that his new company has available.
Lighting power is supplied by Classic 10AH & 15AH Ni-MH batteries. These offer over 60 minutes of continuous 200W or 400W MSR/HMI light. Smart chargers continuously monitor the 8-pin connection to rapidly recharge these ‘tuff’ batteries, giving enhanced longevity.
Camcorder power is very important, so V-Lock 98W 14.8VDC Li-Ion batteries give long life expectancy with a rapid charge rate through the new range of pocket insert chargers.
An exclusive Rhino product is the Mini camcorder F960 Li-Ion battery for PD150&170 and similar cameras. The voltage is 7.2VDC with a 6600 man-hour capacity. This cell gives literally hours of use, even with the minilight attached to the battery through a small output socket mounted upon the top case. They are rechargeable on any Li-Ion charger available.
Only top grade Japanese cells are used and the products are assembled in Britain.
Other products available are a small range of HMI Rhino Lights, which will be available very soon, and Rhino Gel lighting filters, a range of over 250 different colours.
The company has a very open mind on sales, rental and leasing opportunities with prices as low as £1 per day.
