Former BBC Technology executive to head up sales at AMNSE

Ascent Media Network Services Europe (AMNSE) has appointed Mark Beard as Vice President, Sales.
Beard, former Sales Manager for media communications at BBC Technology, will report directly to AMNSE Senior Vice President, Bob Gentry.
Beard brings a wealth of broadcast experience to AMNSE. He joins following two years at BBC Technology, where his remit was to expand the company’s reach into the satellite, fibre and transmission businesses. For the previous eight years, he was at Globecast, most recently as Vice President, European Sales for news and sports. Prior to this he was involved in a variety of publishing and sports marketing roles.
AMNSE is also actively recruiting a vice president of engineering, who will liaise with Beard on a day-to-day basis and round out the senior management team.
