Media Links Appoints Mikhail Zavalin to Strengthen Technical Sales

Media Links, a leading developer and manufacturer of IP media transport solutions, announces that Mikhail Zavalin has joined the company as Market Development Technical Specialist, EMEA. Based in Norway, Zavalin will provide technical sales and pre-sales support to customers and partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Zavalin will work alongside Cesare Camparada, Head of Market Development, EMEA, supporting existing customers and new projects through solution design, technical presentations and proof-of-concept testing. Together, they will also gather customer requirements and market insights to help inform the company's product development and support activities.

"Mikhail knows this market well and brings a positive, practical approach to getting things done," said Al Nuñez, President of Media Links Inc. "I'm pleased to have him on board. He and Cesare will make a strong team, giving us more capacity to work closely with customers and move projects forward across
EMEA."

Zavalin brings more than 20 years of technology experience closely aligned with Media Links' work in broadcast and media, including nearly a decade in technical pre-sales and solutions engineering. His background spans IP networking, cloud infrastructure, video compression and content protection, with experience across production, contribution and distribution.

The breadth of the Media Links portfolio was a key factor in his decision to join. The Company's combination of media gateways, control and network management software, switching, and media over IP network technology gives him the flexibility to work with customers on complete transport solutions or specific workflow requirements. "My experience gives me a broad view of how everything connects," said Zavalin. "When I'm working with a customer, I want to understand the full workflow. What happens either side of our technology matters just as much as the part we're supplying. I'm looking forward to bringing that experience to Media Links and working with customers to understand what they need and how we can help."
