DiGiCo Expands Quantum112 and Quantum225 Pulse Capabilities

DiGiCo has announced the immediate availability of downloadable software upgrades for its two most compact Quantum Range mixing consoles, the Quantum112 Pulse and Quantum225 Pulse, bringing increased channel counts, additional processing capacity and expanded routing capabilities.

The upgrades are designed to enhance the consoles’ capabilities while maintaining their compact form factors, giving audio professionals greater flexibility in live sound environments where space and equipment requirements are key considerations.

The Quantum112 Pulse software upgrade increases the console’s input channel count from 80 to 96 and expands its aux/subgroup busses from 24 to 48. The matrix configuration also grows from 12x8 to 12x12, adding four outputs.

Processing capacity has also been increased, with Mustard processing instances rising from 20 to 24 and Nodal Processing instances increasing from 24 to 32.

The upgrade is available at a list price of £995 and is accompanied by a new version of the application.

Owners of Pulse-equipped Quantum225 and Quantum225 DS consoles can increase their input channel count from 96 to 120 through a free, console-specific software upgrade.

For owners of non-Pulse Quantum225 models, the same channel expansion is available for a list price of £2,295. This upgrade brings the consoles up to the highest specification, including 48 busses, a 12x12 matrix, 36 Mustard processing instances and 48 Nodal Processing instances.

A new application version is also available alongside the Quantum225 upgrades.
