Humly and Comeen by LumApps Partner
Swedish workplace technology company Humly has announced a technology integration partnership with Comeen by LumApps, connecting Humly’s workplace hardware with Comeen’s smart meeting room solution to improve room booking, space management and workplace utilisation.
The integration enables organisations using the Comeen by LumApps workplace platform to deploy Humly Room Display devices, providing employees with meeting room information, availability and workplace navigation. The combined solution is designed to simplify room booking, improve visibility of available spaces and help businesses reduce ghost meetings, where rooms are booked but go unused.
The partnership also supports automated booking rules and workplace analytics, enabling organisations to assess how office space is being used and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
Employees can use AI-powered room booking through tools including Google Chat, Microsoft Teams and Slack. The system identifies suitable meeting spaces based on availability, capacity, equipment and location, helping users find and book rooms while giving organisations greater insight into actual room usage.
The collaboration responds to growing demand for workplace technologies that combine software, dedicated hardware and actionable data as businesses adapt to hybrid working environments. The integration is intended to support both existing installations and new enterprise deployments across Europe and North America.
Beyond meeting room scheduling, the partnership provides a foundation for further development in workplace intelligence. Potential areas of expansion include occupancy monitoring, environmental data collection and utilisation analytics through Humly Sense, the company's open sensing gateway platform.
These capabilities could enable organisations to combine meeting room management with sensor-driven insights into how their offices are occupied and operated. The approach also supports Humly’s wider strategy of developing an open ecosystem that connects workplace devices, software platforms and intelligent building systems.
For Comeen by LumApps, the integration adds a certified hardware option to its workplace experience platform, providing customers with an additional deployment route for meeting room management. For Humly, it expands the reach of its hardware through integration with an established workplace software environment.
Both companies intend to build on the partnership through further collaboration in workplace analytics, occupancy insights, environmental monitoring and broader workplace experience solutions.
