TVC And Globecast Unveil The Matrix Remote Production Centre

Television Content Analytics (TVC) and Globecast have announced The Matrix, a next-generation remote production centre being developed in Singapore to support live broadcast and sports production.

TVC, a Singapore-based company specialising in sports technology, artificial intelligence and live broadcast, is developing the facility in strategic collaboration with Globecast.

The Matrix combines TVC’s AI-powered automated production technologies with IP-based media infrastructure and cloud-enabled workflows. Technical commissioning and validation trials are planned ahead of targeted commercial operations in October 2026.

Saeed Izadi, CEO of TVC, said: "The broadcast industry is undergoing a profound transformation. Clients are seeking expanded capabilities, greater agility, and higher production values at lower operational costs. The industry must fundamentally rethink how live content is captured, produced, and distributed. The Matrix was engineered precisely for that purpose. It is not constrained by a single production framework or legacy hardware model. Instead, it serves as a highly scalable platform supporting everything from automated PTZ setups to Tier-1, multi-camera live international sports events.

The Matrix is designed to support a broad range of live production requirements, with TVC’s technology stack also enabling the facility to generate real-time data and visual intelligence from live video. The company says this could provide additional opportunities for storytelling and content enhancement.

Globecast Provides Infrastructure

Globecast’s Singapore operation will provide the infrastructure environment for The Matrix, combining TVC’s software and intelligent production technologies with Globecast’s facilities and media transport capabilities.

Under the partnership, TVC will build and operate The Matrix, while Globecast will provide technical space and hosting within its Singapore facilities, an on-site commentary booth and connectivity across media networks, teleport infrastructure, fibre and hybrid cloud.

Globecast engineering and Master Control Room resources will also support commissioning and live operations.

For acquisition and distribution, TVC will use Globecast’s worldwide multi-network, orchestrated through its Content Exchange platform. The system brings satellite, fibre, IP and cloud connectivity together within a single operating environment.

Its role-based web portal provides rights owners, rights holders and local affiliates with individual views of the same live operation, alongside real-time content visibility and control over content distribution.

According to the companies, the combination of infrastructure and production technologies is intended to improve resilience and latency while enabling content to be transported at a sustainable cost.

The Matrix represents a further move towards integrated remote production, combining automated production, AI-driven workflows and cloud-based infrastructure with established broadcast connectivity and operational resources.
